unrar the file and chuck it on a usb key, external HD, an SD card with a USB reader, or an mp3 player or cd/dvd. In my case I put it on the root of my psp's 8GB card. When you connect it to the 360 and boot, it will automatically say that it found an update and then proceed with it.
